    Silly Simon (2021)

Johnny Skinner's sci-fi short film "Silly Simon" is making noise on the 2021 film festival circuit. I'm happy to be one of the film's Executive Producers. Skinner's 10 minute film won "Best Short" at the 2021 Midwest Weird Fest in Wisconsin.

Currently "Silly Simon" is about to premiere in Texas at the 2021 Austin After Dark Film Festival in May. Our lead actress was also nominated for her performance.

In January 2020, I drove to New Mexico to audition with Jo Edna Boldin for an Indigenous Casting Call for actors. I chose the "Love vs. Hate" monologue from "Do The Right Thing."

While at the Airbnb that night, I made 3 songs on my iPhone X while watching Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder) and eating Burger King.

    •  The Audition (Skit)
    •  Brass Knuckles
    •  Black Light, Orange Hoodie

As Secret Tween, I released the EP, "New Mexico" a week later. One of the 3 songs on the project is titled, "Black Light, Orange Hoodie" after the nightclub scene in Uncut Gems.

Six weeks later, the pandemic hit.

During quarantine, the City of Tempe held a music contest for their "Tempe Playlist" competition. The winners would get their music played on the City of Tempe's Orbit public transportation system.

The City of Tempe selected "Black Light, Orange Hoodie"
